Linda began playing handbells in 1996. When her choir director retired, Linda volunteered to fill the need for a director. Through her leadership, Harmony Handbells has added 2 youth choirs and transformed the adult choir into a northwest Indiana COMMUNITY handbell choir.

Linda's vision of making handbell ringing accessible to ringers of all ages led to the formation of Harmony Handbells Inc non-profit .

Linda has a passion for teaching and anything handbells.

April was introduced to handbell ringing through her church choir while in high school.

After returning to northwest Indiana in 1994, April "dusted" off the church bells and re-started the bell choir which she directed for 20+ years.

April joined Harmony Handbells in 2018. She enjoys expanding her ringing skills and ringing with a diverse group as part of the community choir.

April is an avid Purdue Women's volleyball fan and enjoys travel.

Kay was first introduced to handbells in 2010 when she heard "Harmony Handbells" at a junior high concert. She immediately expressed an interest in learning how to play and has been with Harmony Handbells ever since. She loves the very unique nature of playing in a handbell choir. She has always enjoyed music, to include singing in choirs, playing the piano and flute & is currently learning to play the organ.

Carol has a degree in music and taught elementary music for 36 years. Carol began ringing with Harmony Handbells in 2018. Carol has been her church's bell choir since 2018.

Carol joined Harmony Handbells Inc as an inaugural Board Member in 2024. She also is an usher for the Symphony.

Hailey first started playing handbells in 2022 when her mom saw a post in a homeschool group. She had never even heard of handbells! Before that, the only musical experience that she had was from piano lessons a few years earlier. Hailey still enjoys ringing handbells with the youth choir. She especially likes how the bells sound great no matter what song is being played.

Hailey joined the Harmony Handbells, Inc non-profit Board to represent her peers and provide a youth perspective to the Board.
